Engaged couple DJ Just a Girl and DJAJ, real names AJ Romano and Victoria Bermudez, team up to deliver a night of tech house and techno. DJ Just a Girl will warm things up in her Brooklyn debut--bringing her signature blend of techno, tech house, and pop for an energetic and bouncy set, Victoria will then spend some time sharing the decks with her significant other for their first public b2b set. DJAJ will cap off the night with a genre bending techno set--incorporating elements of multiple types of house music, as well as electronica to create a unique sound that seeks to force movement in all who hear it.
Hey slime bag! Scrapeboard is here to play at Wonderville every first Tuesday of the month. Challenge yourself to an arcade game that uses a real skateboard deck and metal floor pads as the controller. Take on a boss rush where you perform combos using the skatedeck and floor pads to block sword attacks from Tony Hawk’s hardest hitters, including Kool Man, an alien, and a Nintendo Switch.
Scrapeboard toward summer on May 5th with free play all night and a beginner-friendly tournament. Have at our heavy-duty platforms, and finger our Mini Scrapeboard. The platforms are approaching 3,000 plays and remain unscathed.

This month, we’ll be taking in small bites of cinema with discussions on the ever-growing threat of government use of surveillance tech and AI, as well as finding our autonomy in automated systems of authority. - Benn Jordan: Breaking the Creepy AI in Police Cameras- If you live in the United States, it's very likely that a private startup has been logging and sharing your vehicle's location without your consent. In this video we explore how AI can defend against being tracked by 3rd party police and retail AI tracking cameras.
- Please Hold: A young man's life is suddenly and inexplicably derailed, as he finds himself at the mercy of automated "justice."

Lt Headtrip and NorthernDraw bring the Unbound Flight Tour to Brooklyn with a powerful live performance fueled by off kilter yet thoughtful lyricism and energetic crate digger beats. The partnership forged in DIY venues, punk rock practice spaces, and local record shops in Portland, OR, now spans the globe, with Headtrip (DC area) and Draw (Munich) inviting vocalists from Sweden, West Africa, Venezuela, Cairo and beyond into their series of EPs. Co-founder of the Seattle-based hip-hop coven Black Magic Noize, SHROOM’s gritty, psychedelic rap styles have carried him from the Pacific Northwest to the Brooklyn underground where he performs, produces, and uplifts independent musicians. His raw lyricism and energetic performances have garnered him a reputation as an up-and-coming mainstay in the NYC DIY scene.

Come through to play an arcade game that uses a real skateboard deck and metal floor pads as the controller. Challenge a boss rush where you perform combos using the skatedeck and floor pads to block sword attacks from Tony Hawk’s hardest hitters, including Kool Man, an alien, and a Nintendo Switch.

Voluntary Hazing
Formed in San José, CA, Voluntary Hazing is a moderately large and dorky ska/pop-punk band (although they occasionally stumble into disco, acoustic and other alternative sounds). The group began as friends in the San José State University marching band. Each member has been classically trained, but they decided to change things up and play rock music with their horns. Expect both angst and antics.

Brooklyn composer Talkdemonic returns to the stage to perform his new melodic ambient album Very Cool Yesterday, recently released by the Los Angeles label Bathysphere Records. Opening the evening is neo-folk songwriter Vandiver, bringing his dynamic, Appalachian-inspired tunes to the stage.
Talkdemonic:
Brooklyn composer Talkdemonic returns with his sixth studio album, Very Cool Yesterday, a deeply evocative and transportive instrumental record. The synth-driven album unfolds with moody restraint before erupting into radiant, emotional color. Pulsing with vivid melody and raw texture, it creates a cinematic sonic landscape where ambient and experimental elements converge. Very Cool Yesterday is a collection of exposed emotion and sonic imperfection, channeling a journey through connection, disintegration, and the quiet transformation that follows, where longing, memory, and renewal dissolve into sound.
Talkdemonic is the long-running instrumental project of Brooklyn-based composer Kevin
Timothy O’Connor, known for his cinematic blend of analog synths, live drums, and ambient
textures. Founded in Portland, Oregon in 2004 as a solo exploration of percussion and
atmospheric sound design, Talkdemonic quickly gained acclaim for albums like Mutiny Sunshine and Beat Romantic, and has toured with The National, The Flaming Lips, and Modest Mouse. O’Connor has composed music for the award-winning jazz documentary Universe (IDA’s Best Music Documentary), Back Water, and Birds of Neptune, as well as collaborating with Jóhann Jóhannsson on Darren Aronofsky’s Mother!. His sixth album, Very Cool Yesterday, continues that evolution—lush, transportive, and evocative. The album was highlighted as a Bandcamp New and Notable release, describing it as a collection of “fourth world music, drone, and minimalism across a dozen intoxicating instrumentals”.

Songwriter Vandiver (Andrew Hammond) found his musical footing playing intimate rooms across New York City before refining his sound during a three-year stint in Asheville, North Carolina. Blending pseudo-Appalachian avant-neo-folk with a modern sensibility, Hammond’s dynamic voice anchors a distinctly lyric-driven approach to contemporary American folk. His debut EP, What May Rot, features five delicately intimate songs recorded in a barn studio at Basement Floods in Catskill, NY.

You don’t need a team to come! We will build balanced teams for everyone. So come learn the ropes during open play before the tournament commences at 8:30pm. And SIGN UP EARLY AT THE STAGE. 40 player cap and sign ups end at 8pm sharp.
Hey slime bag! Scrapeboard is here to play at Wonderville every first Tuesday of the month. Challenge yourself to an arcade game that uses a real skateboard deck and metal floor pads as the controller. Take on a boss rush where you perform combos using the skatedeck and floor pads to block sword attacks from Tony Hawk’s hardest hitters, including Kool Man, an alien, and a Nintendo Switch.
Scrapeboard into spring on April 7th with free play all night and a beginner-friendly tournament. We have new heavy-duty platforms to show off, and Mini Scrapeboard will return. Our latest platforms are approaching 3,000 plays and remain in top shape.
