after a collective 14 years in nyc (you can figure out the division, i can’t do everything for you), the time has come for us to bid the big apple adieu. adieu to subway mariachi bands when i’m on my very last shred of patience for the day; adieu to 4am bodega trips for cheeto salad; adieu to $18 cocktails; adieu to questioning if the poop on the sidewalk is human or canine (or secret third option); adieu to the simultaneous energy and exhaustion, the loneliness and togetherness, the endless and limited possibilities; adieu to all of our friends. woah….. that got serious real fast……… anyway…… WE GOTTA PARTY!!!!! for the last time for the foreseeable future, we are begging everyone to hang out. literally begging. come drink copious amounts (cancel your saturday plans.. im so serious), play arcade games, and boogie to the tunes of our DJ friends. bring your friends, bring your partners, bring anyone with dancing feet, bring randos you meet on the street (dr seuss who?). and hey, if you cry, you cry.
