Scatterbrain Magazine’s Issue 6 (our third New York edition) is a medieval carnival fair of delights! Dubbed Under the Big Top, this issue launch party is a place for all who love fun and art to gather and be silly!

With live art-making, a roaming jester, and incredible musical acts, this event will surprise and delight you. Top it off with delicious food and drink from Wonderville, and it’ll be the highlight of your weekend.

Music of the evening will be provided by Adrianisntadub @adrianisntadub, Nina del Río @ninadelriiio, Estephanie @estephleaveamessage, and Mother Cabrini @m0thercabrini—yes, that’s a DJ set, latin music, R&B, and indie rock!

We will have a face-paint artist, tarot reader, and vendors selling clothes, nail sets, and of course, Scatterbrain Magazine (pre-order your copy for a discount—see @scatterbrainmagazine for details)!

What is Scatterbrain Magazine, you ask?

We are a NYC and Montreal-based arts and culture collective publishing print magazines twice a year, one for each city. Our core is always interviews with local brands and creatives, rounded out with writing, artwork, and fun extras from our in-house team. From intimate events like “Performative Reading” and cyanotype workshops in Montreal, to big nights like the Issue 4 launch at Substance Skatepark (NY) and the Issue 5 launch at the Société des Arts Technologiques (MTL), we are building unique creative communities in both cities.

This event will be exciting and different from our last two launches, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you… We hope you feel right at home in our traveling circus.
