@lgbtbrooklyn uplifts and empowers LGBTQ+ Brooklyn through socially conscious and culturally responsive programs, partnerships, and advocacy. Founded in 2008 to provide LGBTQ+ Brooklynites with programming and resources in their home borough, BCPC has grown from a small office at Brooklyn Borough Hall into the primary provider of LGBTQ+ community space, programming, and resources for NYC’s most populous borough. In doing so, they are building a stronger, safer Brooklyn for everyone.

With a focus on housing justice, community empowerment, long-term success, harm reduction, and our fundamental human rights, @glits_inc provides immediate crisis support for asylum seekers and other marginalized communities, with a focus on addressing the urgent needs of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. They work to secure stable housing for marginalized individuals to help break the cycle of disenfranchisement, meet the healthcare needs of our community amid a profound need for supplies and affordable care, and advocate for the inclusion and well-being of the communities we serve while combating stigma and criminalization. Founded in 2015, G.L.I.T.S addresses barriers faced by community members at the intersection of gender, race, and class through direct services, advocacy, mass mobilization, media engagement, and public education.
